Spend a few hours today on modeling some rumble in 3ds max, I will probably put it in the Source Engine. I made 3 different rocks and then painted them on a plane using the Advanced Painter plugin, after that I attached the rocks together, unwrapped and textured them. I used Mental Ray for baking Ambient Occlusion which was added as "Multiply" layer on top of the texture in photoshop, I also generated a Normal map using the free Ndo plugin for photoshop, which is found here "http://quixel.se/nDo1/".
